How COVID-19 Is Affecting Missions

Hey everyone! So, as we can imagine you're all getting tons of emails about Coronavirus, and here is another! We are not canceling our trip as of this moment because plane tickets are nonrefundable. However, we are asking for lots of prayers for our health on this trip, and that this trip doesn't get cancelled. We understand that if the airlines cancel our flight we will get a refund and therefore will heartbreakingly not be going to Romania.

We feel it is imperative to go to Romania this year.

We are taking precautions and being aware of the situations but here's why we feel it is so important:

This year we have plans to work with Hope Church Romania and with the Roma population along with many other outreach opportunities.

We are planning to look for an apartment for when we move in 2022.

Jonna has two senior shows in the fall this year. Parts of her show will be interviews of Roma’s and Romanian nationals so it’s pretty imperative that we be able to go.

We are keeping a close eye on the state of things and if we feel that God is telling us to regroup then we will. As of this moment, we sadly don’t see the possibility of our visit to Hungary and Austria but that will be decided upon in the future. We are taking precautions and are being mindful of the situation. Thank you so much for your prayers!
