End of Our Trip 2018

Hello everyone! This is our last update from our trip last year. This has been a fantastic journey and we hope that you have enjoyed these newsletters as much as we have just writing them. We hope that we have been able to give you a small taste of what it's like to be on a trip with us. We are currently accepting donations for our trip to France, Greece, and Romania now as each of us need to raise approximately $3,000 to cover for a month in Europe. We are also prayerfully considering visiting and getting more contacts in Germany, and Austria. Please keep us in your prayers as we are listening for a leading direction in these areas.

We were able to minister in Craiova and Draganesti. In Craiova we were able to minister to kids in a Roma neighborhood where Alyssa told them the story of the prodigal son and how much God loves them no matter what. Nicholas played soccer with the boys while Alyssa and Jonna got to hang out with the girls. We also were able to pass out New Testaments as the Eastern Orthodox Church won’t allow them to read the New Testament as the Eastern Orthodox Church has been telling the people they have to pay to get saved, etc.

In Craiova we were able to witness a baptism (which was 2-3hours long), and hung out with some pretty cool teens. We were asked to play activity (to which we thought they meant AN activity, come to find out it’s a game, that’s really hard to play with two languages). Also was suddenly poured on by rain that soaked our clothes so much that they didn’t dry for three days.

We loved just building relationships with various people.

We so appreciated this trip and seeing God’s Kingdom so unified all over Eastern Europe. We are so excited to be working with all these people in the near future, and we are eternally grateful for your continued support. We love you all. We have been praying for all of you to get back double, triple, and a hundredfold what you have sown into us. Whether that is in prayer support, counsel, or financial. We hope to honor and bless you with this newsletter. We have no words for how much you mean to us.
